Holiday Charity Drives in Rockland County, NY


The following charitable organizations are accepting donations throughout the holiday season for needy families in Rockland County, NY. 


People to the People


This holiday season, visit People to the People's offices to "adopt" a family in need. Through the "adoption," Project Joy asks participants to fulfill a child-in-need's holiday wish-list. Participants may also purchase toys for People to the People's "Joy Store," where un-adopted families in need may choose two toys to take home.


Temple of Beth El Toy Drive

Spring Valley; 845-356-2000

The Temple of Beth El's Women of Reform Judaism is sponsoring an ongoing toy drive through December. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy in the synagogue's lobby. All toys will be donated to local county charities.


United Way of Rockland

Nyack; 845-358-UWAY

The United Way of Rockland will be running a toy, food, and toiletries drive until December 20th. Boxes can be dropped off at their main office located on the corner of Main Street and Franklin in the M&T Bank Building, 2nd floor. Depending on donation size, pick-ups may be available. The United Way has been running winter charity drives for the last 10 years.
