Toyriffic, a toy store in Pomona, now offers birthday parties. Toyriffic aims to provide children with toys that give them an opportunity to have fun while learning, says Yaakov Miller, store owner. Toyriffic “gears [kids] towards more educational toys,” he says.

Toyriffic now offers families three birthday party packages to choose from. All three packages can be tailored to fit almost any age group and for the older kids includes air hockey, a miniature pool table, a ping pong table, a small basketball hoop, science projects, building toys, and a big screen TV with a selection of DVDs to choose from. The Basic Package is $159 and includes the room and the use of activities and games for two hours. The Arts and Craft Party is $189, which includes making 12 crafts, chips, and soda. At the Arts and Craft Party kids can make jewelry boxes, cars, and piggy banks. The Deluxe Party is $350 and includes 16 crafts, all paper goods, chips, soda, and a choice of hot dogs or pizza, and fries. Parents can bring outside food at no additional charge to all three birthday packages.

Toyriffic also allows parents to create a gift registry for their kids, so their guests don’t have to guess what the birthday child wants, and instead can give them something that they know the birthday child will love. The store offers children an array of toys, says Miller, but will not overwhelm them.

Miller says Toyriffic is “a home away from home,” and most of all, the best place to have “a Toyriffic Party.”
