A modern Jewish Day School serving Rockland County and its environs, The Hebrew Academy seeks to provide every Jewish child with a superb Judaic and Secular education.  We emphasize academic excellence, integrated learning, and the joy of Jewish living from pre-school through 8th grade.   Our General Studies program uses a nationally recognized process that aligns the curriculum with grade level standards, uses ongoing assessment to pinpoint student needs, and commits resources to make sure that every child at The Hebrew Academy is successful. Every Jewish child is welcome, regardless of his or her family's level of Jewish education, observance or affiliation.

Welcome to The Hebrew Academy website. We are happy to have the opportunity to share our school with you. The Hebrew Academy has a rich tradition of excellence since opening its doors in 1995. Our unique, award-winning dual curriculum provides excellence in both Judaic and General Studies. Our General Studies program uses a nationally recognized process that aligns the curriculum with grade level standards, uses ongoing assessment to pinpoint student needs, and commits resources to make sure that every child at The Hebrew Academy is successful.

Technology is an integral part of what happens on a daily basis at school. Each classroom has three-four networked computers for the students, in addition to a computer for the teacher. Smart Boards have been installed in all classrooms K-8. The building has wireless access points which enables our students to use our state-of-the-art laptops throughout the school. With twenty laptops, we have the ability to provide computers for every student in the classroom when they work on a class project. The highly acclaimed Success Maker program is utilized by students in Kindergarten through 4th grade.

While technology is important, it takes a back seat to what really makes The Hebrew Academy successful, its staff. When your child comes to The Hebrew Academy, he or she will be taught by an incredibly dedicated group of professionals who are committed to meeting your child’s academic and social needs.

Hebrew Academy students are taught a love of learning and an understanding of the learning process. The teaching of ethical and moral values and the development of self-esteem and good character traits are an important component of the complete education provided here in a caring and nurturing environment.

The final link contributing to the success of The Hebrew Academy is the amount of parental support and involvement we receive. When the parents, teachers and students are all putting forth their best efforts, success is inevitable. We invite you to become a part of The Hebrew Academy family and work with us for the benefit of all the children here. Thank you for your interest and support.
