SPECIAL PARENT - VOCATIONAL TRAINING/EDUCATION
Wed., April 30, 2014, from 9am-3:30pm, Jed Baker, Ph.D., will present a Special Needs "Transition to Adulthood" Workshop for parents and professionals on helping children with special needs, autism, and the social-behavioral challenges of a successful transition to adulthood. Dr. Baker will discuss key predictors of successful adult outcomes among students with special needs, detail effective social skills training strategies, and review common skills needs for young adults, including issues of sexuality and dating.
