The Gateway Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County

CLASSES/PROGRAMS-THEATER
Since 1950, The Gateway has become Long Island’s home for Broadway-quality entertainment. What was once one of the top ten summer theatres -- Robert Duvall and Gene Hackman began their careers here - has now expanded to include a five-show summer season of musicals, summer Children’s Theatre series, winter holiday season – plus special events throughout the year. Shows are presented at the 500-seat Gateway Playhouse in Bellport and the 1200-seat Patchogue Theatre. More than 300 students each year – from Montauk to Manhattan – receive professional-level training at The Gateway Acting School.
