St. Nicholas Day - Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site
Add to Calendar 08-12-2012 08-12-2012 15 St. Nicholas Day Join Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site as it celebrates St. Nicholas Day, an annual holiday tradition. The day will include holiday-themed tours of the historic Philipse Manor Hall, a craft activity for children, a visit from St. Nicholas himself, two concerts from the Bronx Arts Ensemble, and refreshments. The Bronx Arts Ensemble will give two performances during the day that tell the story of St. Nicholas. The first performance begins at 1pm and is for children and their families. The second concert begins at 3pm. Philipse Manor Hall is located at 29 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers, a short walk from the Yonkers Metro-North train stop. The 1, 1C, 1T, 1W, 6, 9, 25, and 32 Bee Line buses stop in front of or by the Manor Hall, and a number of other bus lines stop within short walking distance of the site.
