Description: Winter may send many individuals to seek sanctuary inside their homes where it is warm. But a great opportunity awaits in the outdoors! Many eagles spend the winter months on the Hudson. Join the Westmoreland Sanctuary staff on an eagle watch along the Hudson. Meet at the Sanctuary, then caravan to Croton Point (or the area with the most eagle sightings). Bring binoculars if you have them. Remember to dress warmly and bring warm beverages to fight the chill. This program will be weather dependent, so if it looks bad call to check on the status. Pre-registration is requested by Feb. 13 at 914-666-8448.
