Loan Mao, D.D.S., PC, owner of Mount Kisco Pediatric Dentistry, is a board certified pediatric dentist who says her main goal is “not only to complete the dental work, but to get children to feel comfortable going to the dentist.” Dr. Mao says that Mount Kisco Pediatric Dentistry provides a kid-friendly environment with TVs in each room and a friendly staff trained to help children.

Mount Kisco Pediatric Dentistry places an emphasis on prevention, education, and diet with the hopes of getting kids to develop good oral habits that can last a lifetime, she says. It also caters to kids with special needs, allowing them extra time to get comfortable before beginning their checkup. “We allow them to come in for a happy visit. It gives kids a chance to meet the staff, take a tour, and to feel comfortable going to the dentist,” Dr. Mao says. “I build a sense of trust, because once we establish their trust, they feel more comfortable.”
