Groove on with local kid-friendly concerts and musical activities for kids in Westchester this July. This list includes the most fun things to do with kids and families who love music all throughout Westchester County.

Music in the Park
WHEN: Thursday, Jul. 6, 7-9pm

WHAT: Come enjoy beautiful music on the lawn and enjoy food and beverages for sale.

Music and Bronx Seaside Trolley
WHEN: Thursday, Jul. 6, 5:30-8:30pm
WHERE: Bartow-Pell Mansion, 895 Shore Road, Bronx, NY
WHAT: Relax to the sounds of live music, explore the mansion, stroll the garden, and savor light refreshments. Then hop on the free Bronx Seaside Trolley for a ride to City Island. The trolley makes a continuous loop from the #6 Pelham Bay Park subway station to BPMM to City Island.

Backyard Concerts

WHAT: Learn how instruments are made and how you make them work. Make your own percussion instrument and share in the music-making.

Pablo Mayor Sextet
WHEN: Sep. 15 - Jul. 29, 8pm
WHERE: ArtsWestchester, 31 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, New York
WHAT: ArtsWestchester presents the Pablo Mayor Sextet in concert in downtown White Plains as part of Jazz Fest 2017.  Versatile Colombian pianist and composer Pablo Mayor blends an exciting mix of traditional and contemporary South American musical styles into the jazz idiom with a core group from his acclaimed orchestra, Folklore Urbano. This concert is part of Jazz Fest 2017, a 5-day celebration of jazz in White Plains.
