 Celebrate the Fourth of July at the Kensico Dam Music Fest. British rock and roll band the Wanderers and the Gerard Carelli Orchestra will perform patriotic tunes and some classic hits.    Bring the family to watch the Fourth of July fireworks at these locations around the county.

     A fireworks display (right) and barbecue dinner follow the "Pops, Patriots & Fireworks" concert at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts on July 4 at 8pm. $30 and up; children are half price. 149 Girdle Ridge Road, Katonah. 914-232-1252.

Art For Everyone

   The Pelham Art Center is hosting its annual Faculty and Student Showcase exhibition. See a wide range of media and subject matter represented in the artwork of distinguished educators and talented students. Then, families are invited to participate in an all age arts workshop that coincides with the exhibition opening, July 9 at 6:30pm. Exhibit runs through August 15. Summer Storytelling

   Budding young naturalists can hear a surprise reader tell Stories in the Garden. Relax in a shady nook on the grounds of Wave Hill as a staff member shares tales about nature and gardens. Peter PanBeloved Musicals!

   Enjoy lunch or dinner and then see the timeless tale of Peter Pan. Based on J.M. Barrie's book, Peter Pan is the musical story of a mischievous boy who can fly and, magically, never grows up.    The Broadway Training Center of Westchester presents Godspell, one of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time. Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, and featuring Stephen Schwartz's score, Godspell boasts a string of well-loved songs, led by the international hit, "Day By Day."    See a variety of butterflies up close at the Live Butterfly Exhibit at Greenburgh Nature Center, on display through September 30. Learn how adult butterflies are diverse in shape, size, and color and how they play an important role in the web of life. Monday-Thursday 9:30am-4:30pm; Saturday-Sunday 10am-4:30pm.
