Find out where to go pumpkin picking in Westchester County, New York. Our guide includes pumpkin patches and farms throughout Westchester that offer pick-your-own pumpkins in the fall, plus fun autumn activities like hayrides, haunted houses for Halloween, corn mazes, and cider pressing.
Farmers are predicting pumpkin shortages this year due to damage done by Hurricane Irene, so make sure to hit the pumpkin patch early in the season for the best pickin'! We recommend calling ahead to confirm availability.

Amawalk Farm

Pick your own pumpkins and vegetables through mid October at this certified organic farm. Open Saturdays 11am-5pm, Sundays 2-5pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-5pm. Main picking field is a cell phone-free zone.

  

Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center

U-pick pumpkins and vegetables through the fall, Saturdays only 10am-4pm. Three hiking trails; guided tours available. Free parking. Farm stand with farm-grown produce, seasonal vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers; open Friday and Saturday 10am-4pm.

 

Stuart's Fruit Farm

Pick your own pumpkins and apples through November. Open daily 9am-6pm. School tours available weekdays in October. Group tours available through the barn, cider mill, and cold storage, ending with a chance to pick apples or pumpkins.

 

Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm

Pick your own pumpkins and apples in October; Friday-Sunday 10am-4:30pm. Tricia's Treats Bake Shop and Appleseed Gift Shop on site, plus a farm market with pre-picked farm produce, snacks, apple cider, and more.
