Established in 1940, Nabby is a family owned summer day camp for boys and girls serving Northern Westchester. Directed by teachers, we offer outstanding facilities and a traditional, balanced program of sports and instructional special activities.

With 38 years as a physical education teacher and swim coach, Joe Bertino has extensive experience working with children. Since taking over the director duties in 1997, Joe has worked alongside his wife, Rita, to provide Camp Nabby with the very best facilities and curriculum in Northern Westchester. In addition to our 17 acres of beautifully tended fields and athletic courts, our programs feature some of the best special-interest activities in the area, like our nature center! Meet the Camp Director

This summer will be Joe Bertino�s 43rd consecutive year at Camp Nabby. Joe gained experience as a counselor, pool director, and head counselor, before becoming the camp director in 1997. Joe has a master�s degree in education, and has been a physical education teacher and swim coach at the Hackley School and in the Ardsley School District for the past 36 years. Joe lives in Ossining with his wife, Rita (associate director); they have three sons: Frank, Joe, and Matt.
