House of Sports is an Olympic-style athletic training facility located in Ardsley, NY. Our 120,000 square foot, state-of-the-art complex is one of the largest in the Northeast and is jam-packed with amenities fit for aspiring athletes of every skill level. This indoor sports utopia can be used by youths and adults for training, league play and tournaments.
We specialize in skill training for lacrosse, baseball, basketball and fitness and employ only the top, world-class coaches to help mold our aspiring athletes into champions. Our Basketball Academy is directed by Coach Andy Borman, NCAA champion and nephew of famed Coach Krzyzewski. The House of Sports’ Lacrosse Academy is led by superstar Ned Crotty, who currently leads the Rochester Rattler’s attack team and is well-known in the lacrosse community as the number three player in the world. Our Baseball Academy is directed by Dale Mueller a former Northern and Frontier league professional and four year Division 1 starter at Butler University.
We also offer specific adult training classes Monday through Sunday in the mornings, afternoon and evenings. House of Sports offers the following boutique, fitness classes: Mixed Martial Arts, Spin and COMBINE360. All classes are taught by our expert instructors. House of Sports even offers childcare for younger children so you can workout without the worry. Parents with older children can enjoy our fitness classes while their children workout and train with our world-class staff.
The House of Sports contains four high school regulation “floating” hardwood basketball courts, 26 adjustable baskets, a 5,000 sq. ft. dedicated Shooting Lab with state-of-the-art shot sculpting technology, a 11,000 sq. ft. performance training center, an 80 yard turf field, four team/war rooms for white board and film sessions, two 40 yard sprint tracks, five batting cages, two pitching tunnels, a strength training zone, a speed zone, which includes three speed treadmills, a Sports Café/Sports Bar, eight party rooms that can fit 10-100 guests for birthdays/corporate events/bar mitzvahs and more!
Our instructional programming includes beginner to elite classes, private and semi-private instruction, clinics and camps. Our class offerings are available after school, as well as, on weekends for boys and girls between the ages of 5-17. All classes are structured in small groups with a one to five coach-to-student ratio.

Health and fitness is a crucial part of all child development. The House of Sports Tots Academy is the area’s leading child physical development program. It uses a variety of fun and games to delight and engage kids in physical activity whileteaching them different sports. Children ages 18 mos.-4 years can learn baseball, basketball, football, soccer, or tumbling in a non- competitive environment that promotes fun above all else! Nephew of the famed Coach K, Andy played basketball at Duke on a Final Four team, and one that went on to win a NCAA National Championship in 2001. Prior to joining the House of Sports, Andy was the director of basketball at IMG Academies. There, he worked with some of the top high school, college, and NBA players in the country. During his tenure, 54 high school students went on to receive Division 1 basketball scholarships.
After winning NYC and NYS high school championships with Rice High School, Lou DeMello moved on to the role of head basketball coach at Concordia College. He also served as founder and executive director of the Westchester Hawks, and is the founder and organizer of the Slam Dunk Boys and Girls High School Basketball Tournament, now in its 14th consecutive year. In addition to serving as the House of Sports' athletic director, he is also director of the Shooting Lab.
Ned Crotty is one of the top three lacrosse players in the world. He was an All-American at Duke and was a member the 2010 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship team. He also won the Tewaaraton Trophy for the most outstanding lacrosse player in the nation. Ned joined the MLL after being chosen the first overall pick in the 2010 MLL draft, and currently plays for the Rochester Rattlers. Prior to joining the House of Sports, Ned was a senior coach with Trilogy Lacrosse.
Dale was a four-year baseball starter at Butler University, a leading Division 1 baseball school. In 2005, he was awarded the Horizon League Player of the Year. He played three years of professional baseball in the Frontier and Northern Leagues, winning a championship title each year. In addition, Dale served as the manager and head instructor at the Baseball Center, NYC's leading baseball center. Prior to joining the House of Sports, he spent three years coaching at the JV and Varsity levels.
