White Plains Family YMCA

The YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester is committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. It is a charitable, not for profit organization that welcomes all people regardless of age, race religion or economic status and strives to enrich each and every life through a unique, dynamic combination of programs that strengthens spirit, mind and body.

We attempt to display and work into all of our programs and activities the following values:

symbolized by the color red for the heart, the values of love and tolerance for fellow human beings.
symbolized by the color blue for ‘true blue,' the value of honor and truthfulness in our lives.
symbolized by the color gold for the ‘golden rule,' treating others as we ourselves wish to be treated.
symbolized by the color green for nature and our responsibility to the world around us.

Summer camp programs at the White Plains YMCA are as unique as the campers themselves. We focus on developing the whole child through programs that support children’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development. We do this by designing programs that help youth develop communication skills, engage in problem solving, learn through critical thinking, and contribute to designing the programs they participate in each day. The White Plains YMCA’s camp programs build self-esteem and developmental assets by focusing children on their strengths. Ages 3-15 years old. Financial Assistance is available.
