Brighter Futures Learning Center Opens in Forest Hills

Brigther Futures Learning Center, an early childhood center, opens in Forest Hills with aims to increase parent involvement in their child’s education.

Tutors on Wheels, known for providing supplemental educational brighter futures learning center opens in forest hillsservices to K-12 and college students, either at home or via a “mobile tutor,” opened a full-blown preschool called Brighter Futures Learning Center. Located in Forest Hills, the early childhood center will work to offer “high quality education and care to young children.” 

One essential part of the new school’s goal is to get parents more involved in their child’s learning. As the learning center’s mission statement says, the staff at Brighter Futures sees parents as “the first teachers” where “a strong home and school connection is the perfect formula for success.” Jasleen Sabharwal, director of Tutors on Wheels, says most of all, the school wants kids “to be prepared for kindergarten socially, academically, and physically.”

Brighter Futures Learning Center is located at 68-60 Austin Street in Forest Hills, and is offering half- and full-days to fit parents’ needs. For more information on this budding preschool program, contact Sabharwal at [email protected].
