Brooklyn Girl Scout Creates Partnership Between Curvebreakers Test Prep and Bishop Kearney High School

Grace Aluisa, now a senior at Bishop Kearney High School in Brooklyn, is an accomplished young person. One of the top-performing academic students in her class, Grace has also reached the highest level within the Girl Scouts organization as a Girl Scout Ambassador.

After tutoring with Curvebreakers Test Prep, Grace saw her SAT improve by 190 points, which brought her score into the 99th percentile. Knowing that high SAT scores can increase her chances of getting into a preferred college and receiving scholarship money, she wanted her classmates to benefit from the same opportunities.

Bishop Kearney High School has been making a difference for young women in Brooklyn for over 50 years, but they had not yet offered SAT or ACT test prep events at their school. Grace saw this as the perfect opportunity to form a partnership between her high school and Curvebreakers. After receiving approval from the guidance department at Bishop Kearney High School, she arranged a meeting with the owner of Curvebreakers and the director of guidance. A contract is now in place, and Curvebreakers will begin offering SAT and ACT classes to Bishop Kearney students starting in December. Curvebreakers Test Prep will be using cutting-edge technology to provide analytical reporting on the performance of each student and create an actionable plan for improvement.
