ChiroMom, Bellmore’s newest and only cape-wearing doctor gets the whole body functioning at optimum level using only her hands.

Dr. Dana Walters, who has practiced chiropractic care for 10 years in Manhattan, celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for ChiroMom with the help of the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce and local elected officials last month.

Working under the philosophy that “adjusting the spine helps a person achieve optimal health and wellness,” Dr. Walters explains that, “the body is self-healing. The nervous system is what controls the entire body and adjusting the spine frees up irritation from stress so the body can do what it needs to do at an optimum level.”

A mother of two (5.5 and 2.5 years old), Dr. Walters has been adjusting her kids’ spines since they were newborns. “Infants benefit from a gentle adjustment, which can correct misalignment in the spine that may be caused by the trauma of emerging at birth, Dr. Walters says. “Adjustments reduce nerve irritation so all of the body’s systems can operate at their potential.”

Other than chiropractic care for infants to adults and nutritional supplement plans, Chirm that can help increase fertility, and can help both men and women with digestive and reproductive issues.
