Enchanted Castle at Burr Homestead

Wear a costume to the Stamford Museum and Nature Center's Harvest Festival and receive a prize. Other activities include hayrides, apple cidering demonstrations, face painting, live music, storytelling, crafts, and a costume parade. Explore The Enchanted Castle: A Magical Storybook Experience at the Burr Homestead. Costumed characters inhabit rooms decorated in six different storybook themes, including Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Proceeds from The Enchanted Castle benefit the Ahlbin Rehabilitation Centers at Bridgeport Hospital. October 22-October 31. Closed October 25. Check website for times. $5. Family-oriented workshops are set up for costumed visitors to make haunted houses, creepy art barns, magic lanterns, and Halloween pop-up cards at the Wacky Costume Party.
