Looking for a way to appease your crew of movie buffs and enjoy the great outdoors at the same time? From big-name Disney musicals (Tangled) to super-powered smash hits (Black Panther), from cult classics (Ghostbusters) to animated blockbusters (Ralph Break the Internet), you can catch FREE outdoor screenings of family flicks under the stars all summer long!

SummerScreen is free to the public on Wednesdays in July and August in McCarren Park, in Williamsburg. Enjoy food from vendors and live music when gates open at 6pm; films start at sundown.

Brooklyn Bridge Park's Harbor View Lawn, 334 Furman St., Dumbo/Brooklyn Hieghts

The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy is hosting screenings of outdoor movies every Thursday in July and August. The evening usually begins with music from a DJ and a short film. The Beer Garden opens and music starts at 6pm; the movie begins at sundown.

Intrepid Museum Summer Movie Series

Pier 86, 46th Street and Twelfth Avenue, Midtown

Enjoy free feature films on Fridays on the flight deck of the Intrepid Museum. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets (with food, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages). Flight deck opens at 7pm; films begin at sunset, weather permitting. Space is limited and tickets are handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. Museum members can reserve tickets in advance.

HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival

A portable, inflatable screen provides easy viewing and the sound system is awesome!
