French-American Ballet Theatre, a new specialist training academy for aspiring and highly talented young ballet students as well as dedicated adults, opened in Hawthorne this month. The state-of-the-art Westchester studio propses a unique set of classical ballet classes for beginner and advanced dancers.
FABT is the school for the next generation of acclaimed professional and amateur dancers across the USA, France, and around the globe. Directed by world-renowned principal dancer Marie Lorène Fichaux, the program is inspired by teaching methods from leading European and American ballet companies. It includes theme-focused workshops, adult fitness classes and tailored private lessons.
French-American Ballet Theatre aims to teach not only dance, but also the importance of responsibility, necessary for forging your own career. Their mission is to help students transform into “cultured, well-rounded individuals with a sense of curiosity and drive,” according to FABT.
