Identical twin sisters Diane and Janice Huey love the sweeter things in life. These sisters are coming together to open Huey’s Chueys, a candy boutique that aims to delight both kids and their parents.

The boutique offers nostalgic sweet treats like salt-water taffy, pralines, and Jelly Bellies, and new creations like the boutique’s signature “Huey’s Chueys”—which is popcorn drizzled with chocolate and topped with dried fruit or raisins. For the health-conscious, Huey’s Chueys has customized edible fruit creations such as fruit kabobs and fruit bouquets.

The candy boutique is available for children and adult parties. Huey’s Chueys offers a number of themed birthday parties for children ages 1 through 7, and the boutique hosts bridal and baby showers. The boutique also provides candy stations or party bags for outside parties. Tables can be reserved for tea parties for both adult and child clientele.

“We offer something for everyone,” says Natalie De Souza, head of public relations and marketing. “We have unique treats that serve every palate.”

Huey’s Chueys holds its grand opening on March 15 and is located at 378 Myrtle Ave. between Clermont Avenue and Adelphi Street.
