Variety of Classes Offered At New Fitness Studio

After getting in shape and losing weight, Tauris McBride opened Just Keep Moving Fitness. This fitness studio, which has a variety of classes, is convenient and affordable.

In 2010, Tauris McBride says he knew a life change was in order, not just for him, but also for his entire family. While on his quest to drop an impressive amount of weight, McBride found himself spending a hefty chunk of change on fitness classes at several different fitness centers, which made getting healthy inconvenient and expensive.

In February, 150 pounds lighter and inspired to spread his love of fitness, McBride opened Just Keep Moving Fitness in Manhattan. JKM strives to promote exercise and encourage healthy habits that families can do together, and classes taught at JKM are suited for all levels. McBride’s mission is to defy preconceived notions of the fitness industry and get both kids and adults to connect with their bodies.

“At JKM, you won’t feel judged or uncomfortable. There is a class for everybody,” McBride says. “If you like martial arts, Zumba, or dance, we offer it all.” To give everyone the opportunity to look and feel great, JKM offers 20 classes for $20 for all new customers, a program that really “gives people the possibility of an active lifestyle,” McBride says. “I don’t care what activity you do, I just want everyone to be active.”
