For over 50 years, the Joffrey Ballet School has summer dance camp programs for ages 3-6, and ballet intensives for children 7-13. Dance camps are weeklong workshops to encourage creativity through using dance, arts, crafts, music and food. In-studio performance culminates each workshop. PALSS is a speech-language pathology practice and social skills program run by speech-language pathologist Jodi Haft M.S., CCC-SLP. The PALSS social skills program is for children who are having trouble with socialization, including difficulty with friends, school, handling frustration or taking perspective. Before entering the PALSS program, professionals screen children during a 45-minute evaluation/parent meeting. If treatment is necessary, twice per week, children meet for one-hour sessions per week, for a four-week cycle during our summer program.

TADA!, the city's best-known youth theater, begins Spring Week-Long Camps on March 13. Registration is now open for Summer Week-Long Camps. Spring classes start on March 29. TADA!'s acclaimed classes are held on weekends and after school. Each class, taught by professional teaching artists, runs for 8 sessions and concludes with a final presentation. Classes include: Creative Dramatics, Musical Theater Skills Building, Acting, and a unique Musical Theater Performance Workshop. Pre- K through 8th Grades.

Take four-week performing arts workshops for ages 7-19. Three musical theatre/dance companies by age and ability, and a Teen Acting Ensemble. Full day includes acting, musical theatre/dance, voice, on-camera, improv, and more. Classes and choreography with professionals from Broadway, regional theatre, film and TV. Students perform in staged shows. Musical Theatre (ages 7-19) July 7-August 3. Teen Acting Ensemble June 30-July 27. NEW fifth week cabaret workshop for advanced teens. Travel options from Manhattan. The Summer Arts Day Camp, in its 29th year, offers a unique, creative arts experience for 3- to 6-year-olds. Young campers explore music, drama, creative movement and the visual arts, and enjoy plenty of water play in our sunny courtyard. They learn from the same highly experienced, talented and caring teaching artists who lead our acclaimed Nursery and Preschool Programs during the school year. Summertime at Third Street means art, new friendships, inspiration and most of all, fun! Limited tuition assistance is available.
