New York Rangers and USA Hockey Invite Kids to Try Hockey for Free

The New York Rangers and USA Hockey teams up with community ice rinks throughout the tri-state area to host the first-ever “Try Hockey for Free” day, introducing kids to hockey with free skating and hockey lessons.try hockey for free with new york rangers

This Saturday, November 5, the New York Rangers and USA Hockey collaborates with local ice skaing rinks throughout the tri-state area to host the first-ever “Try Hockey for Free Day,” where former Rangers players will introduce kids ages 4-9 to hockey with free skating and hockey lessons.

Skate rentals will be complimentary and every child who attends will receive a free Rangers hockey stick.

Participating rinks include Playland Ice Casino (Rye, N.Y.), Long Beach Arena (Long Beach, N.Y.), Ebersole Skating (White Plains, N.Y.), Stergiopoulos Ice Rink (Great Neck, N.Y.), Brewster Ice Arena (Brewster, N.Y.), Danbury Ice Arena (Danbury, Conn.), and Floyd Hall Arena (Little Falls, N.J.).
