On September 17, The Speech Studio opened the doors to its new office location in Cross River. The office is conveniently located at 892 Route 35, in the Old Post Road Professional Building.
The Speech Studio provides comprehensive speech and language therapy through its personalized and data-driven approach. Individual and group therapy sessions are offered for children from toddlers to teens. All treatment approaches are research-based and have proven efficacy. For the last two years, speech-language pathologist Corie Viscomi has earned the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s Award for Continuing Education, a formal recognition for speech pathologists who have demonstrated a commitment to lifelong learning.
The Speech Studio was founded in June 2017. Since opening, Corie has been providing evaluations and therapy at clients’ homes, schools, and in community settings. Further, she has been educating the community about the importance of early detection by offering workshops for parents, teachers, and related professionals. Many local preschools have also opted to take advantage of free speech and language screenings for their students. The opening of the new office will allow The Speech Studio to continue to be a resource for the community and to help more children in need of services.
The new office boasts a private waiting room and kid-friendly therapy rooms. Further, the building is easily accessible via free parking, ramps, and an elevator.
