Tea and Sympathy

 Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church hosts its annual Greek Festival June 3-6. Stop by the celebration to sample food, pastries, music, dance, handicrafts, and children's activities.    With sports clinics, a parade, karate demonstrations, inflatables, a dunk tank, a fire department smokehouse, live music, food, and vendors, there's something for everyone at the annual Nanuet Family Festival, June 5 at the Nanuet Outdoor Education Center.  Mario the Magician brings his whimsical brand of magic to the Nyack YMCA, along with music by Lanti Studio. Summer Fun in the Great Outdoors

   Celebrate the longest day of the year at a Summer Solstice Nature Program at the Bear Mountain State Park's Trailside Museum. Pet Parade

Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Outdoor Discovery Center; family on a nature walk in woods; nature hike with kidsNature Quests

   Hikers can uncover the treasures of nature on a Discovery Quest, following nearly two miles of trails at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center, weekends through November. Discovery Quests are four different hiking adventures that challenge hikers to make twelve different nature discoveries on each trail with the help of a guidebook. Quest hikes range from an easy, stroller-friendly trail to a more vigorous hike of nearly two miles. The trails cover a variety of habitats, from wetlands to meadows to forest.
