Students should be dropped off no sooner than 5 minutes before class. One-way studio traffic. Temperature checks will be done before entering building. There will be no dressing rooms. Please come completely dressed for class with a small tote to hold street shoes. Classes will be live streamed. In-studio parent observation is discontinued. Students must be picked up at time class is scheduled to end. There will be no waiting in lobby permitted. Exit door will be supervised during pick-up. All studios will have reduced capacity to meet official regulations. HEPA filters are installed in all studios. Hand sanitation stations in lobby and all studios. All faculty and students must wear standard masks while on premises (no valve masks or face shields). Studio floors will be marked for proper distancing during center work. Students will be placed at appropriate distances at the ballet barre . There will be a 15 minute break between all classes for sanitation.
Admission is by advance online purchase for specific timed entry only, to allow for social distancing through reduced capacity. Everyone older than 2 must wear a mask. Physical distancing encouraged by having everyone flow through the galleries in one direction. Increased cleaning of common areas. While all animal exhibits are open (including the Shark & Ray Touch Pool and jellyfish touch tank), the IMAX Theater and several interactive digital displays are closed for now.
Masks are required for in-person lessons; piano keys are disinfected before and after in-person lessons; low building density; social distancing; increased disinfecting around building; regular building sanitization schedules; hand sanitizer available; and the HVAC system and filters are being updated. Online music lessons continue.
While most offerings for parents and families remain online at this time, we are open for appointments and our wellness practitioners are here for you. We require masks, add buffer time between clients, and clean regularly and between each client. We also have a beautiful outdoor space for small group gatherings.
Maximum eight students per studio. We significantly reduced capacity by 50 percent in each studio to allow for maximum safety and still provide a high quality experience. Studios have been arranged to ensure that students and staff are positioned no less than six feet apart at all times. We have installed rigorous standards to sanitize and disinfect throughout the day, while requiring students and staff to vigorously wash hands constantly. Students and staff are required to wear masks at all times when attending One River School. This is an essential safety feature that is required for all.
Prior to arrival, parents must screen their children and complete a screening form. If your child has any symptoms or known exposure to COVID-19, they can attend class via Zoom. If a student, family member, or staff tests positive or has known exposure to COVID-19, they must wait at least 14 days or until a negative result to return to in-person classes. Traffic flows in one way, marked by directional markings and distancing signs throughout the building. Parents must wait outside during pick-up/ drop-off. All students and staff will wear masks while in the building and PGT will provide masks for students and staff. Hand sanitizer will be available upon entering the building and students are required to wash/sanitize when they arrive and throughout class. A staff member will be in attendance to ensure that social distancing is observed. The building will be cleaned and disinfected in between each class. Students are asked to keep their personal belongings with them.
Face coverings required for entry. Hand sanitizer stations throughout the play space. 90-minute blocks of play time with 30-minute intervals for cleaning. Loose toys will be rotated out after each block for washing and sanitizing. Capacity limited to 8 children maximum with one adult per family (1,500 square feet of open play space). Larger surfaces are cleaned with a fogger machine acquired from Korea. Doors opened for enhanced air circulation. We purchased a medical grade HEPA filter air purifier for commercial space which will arrive no later than Sept. 4. Anti-bacterial soaps in bathrooms.
REACH Prep is following state and federal guidelines. Students must wear masks to attend classes, maintain a six foot distance, and have individual plastic barriers at their work stations. Additionally, class sizes are a maximum of 10. Staff cleans and disinfects regularly.
All students and staff must wear a mask at all times. Class capacity is 50 percent, so that students and staff can maintain a safe distance. Upon entry, everyone will have their temperature taken by an automatic touch-less kiosk. All will be required to answer a brief questionnaire regarding their current health status. Students will be required to bring their own supplies to class. All supplies provided by the RAC will be sanitized daily. Custodial services will be increased to clean and sanitize the building with an emphasis on sanitizing all touch points. Plexiglass dividers are being installed in classrooms, music studios and offices. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building. HEPA air filtration is installed throughout the building.
Frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces throughout the day. All staff wear masks and are temperature checked. Hand sanitizer available Children ages 2 and older are required to wear masks except during physical activity with social distancing. Swim staff wear shields. Child care precautions: Children will remain in the same group with the same staff for the duration of their time in child care. Frequent hand washing and cleaning of high touch surfaces throughout the day. All staff and children must wear masks Temperature checks of staff and children before they enter the building as well as lunch time for full day children. Each participant will have an individual bag of supplies to reduce the amount of supplies shared. During pick up and drop off, parents and guardians must stay in their car. Staff will ask the guardian/parent screening questions and will take the child's temperature.
Sheldrake Environmental Center
Sheldrake Environmental Center is offering small-group and customized programs for families while adhering to safe practices for social distancing. Our nature programs are conducted entirely outdoors. Group size is limited, and masks must be worn by all participants, including our naturalists. Families could request a one-time, private experience or a recurring program; these could be held on Sheldrake's 60 acres or in a backyard. Virtual programs are also offered for STEM education and Scout badge quests. All ages, preschool through adult.
This fall, all classes—Music Together, Canta y Baila, ukulele—are on Zoom, from our living rooms to yours. Can't get much safer than that!
Studio B Dance Center is pleased to announce that they will be holding in-person classes for their 25th Anniversary Season. Studio B is a licensed and certified Safer Studio from the More Than Just Great Dancing Network of Affiliated Studios. Teachers and students will be required to wear masks and hand sanitizing stations will be located at all entry and exit points, as well as in each classroom. All classrooms have social dis-dance markings and grids on the floor for social dis-dancing. They are limiting the number of students in each class. Studio B is also offering private, semi-private, and create your own "pod" classes. If you want to dance from home, they can create a zoom class as well. Classes for boys and girls ages 2 and up.
Mask are mandatory. Everyone fills out a hygiene questionnaire form. Temperature check every time you enter the gym. New hand sink by the front desk and everyone must wash their hands before working out. Cleaning station: everyone will grab a clean rag and disinfectant spray bottle and will clean any equipment before use and after use. Washing hands on the way out is recommended but not mandatory. All in-person classes and activities will require masks to be worn. (We intend to have clear masks on hand for our students so we can see their faces as they perform!) Class and activity sizes will be kept small. Our cleaning schedule has become increasingly vigorous as well, with a new sanitizing service and weekly deep cleaning. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the studio as well.
We can accommodate a student-teacher distance of at least 10 feet, with clear barriers between teacher and student. We will also have proper signage around the school indicating 6 feet of spacing. Lesson times will be staggered to minimize students’ entry and exit overlap. Anyone who enters the school will have their temperature taken and be required to wear a face mask, disposable masks available for those who need them. Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers available throughout. Teachers and students must sanitize or wash hands before and after each lesson. Major touching surfaces and instruments are cleaneda throughout the day. Students are encouraged to bring their own instrument. Daily cleaning procedures include sanitizing each room multiple times a day. Virtual lessons are still available for those who are not comfortable returning just yet.
Masks are required and social distancing-grid makers are in all studios. There is increased disinfecting, hand sanitizer, and a limited number of students allowed in the studio. No visitors are allowed in the studio.
Camp capacity has been reduced to allow for proper social distancing. Kids are spaced on opposite ends of tables and have individual activity stations. Masks are required during group activities or when social distancing is not possible. All items touched during activities are sanitized before being used by another group. All tables are wiped and disinfected several times throughout the day. For the upcoming school year, CSTL's Nature Kids and Tiny Tots programs will be practicing similar protocols, as well as special events.

Upon entering the building, everyone must wash their hands. Common surfaces are wiped down very often during the day. The classroom is spaced out and plexiglass dividers are on tables where more than one child will sit. Parents are not allowed in. We added 4-in-1 air cleaning systems into the classrooms. One child per bathroom at a time. Teachers will supervise hand washing after bathroom use. Staggered playground times and children will wash hands after. The playground will be sanitized between groups by a staff member. At the conclusion of the day, the entire facility will be sprayed down.

Harbor Child Care is following the requirements of the CDC, NYSDOH, and the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). We have new safety standards in place since June 1 as well as social distancing guidelines to help protect our children, families, and staff during these unprecedented times. We have five locations in Nassau County (Glen Cove, New Hyde Park, Manhasset, Mineola and Uniondale) and our staff wears protective facial coverings throughout the day. Cleaning and disinfecting occurs before the children arrive in the morning and after they leave in the afternoon and additional cleaning service is done in the evening.
If your student or anyone in your family is sick or experiencing symptoms, please do not come to class. Everyone must wear a mask upon entering and exiting the facility. Students are urged to wear a mask during class. All studios are now equipped with medical grade HEPA air filters, which remove 99.97 percent of contaminants. All students must wash their hands before and after class and wipe down their barre after class. Barres will be fully sanitized between classes. Classes will be limited to 10 students and everyone will maintain social distancing of at least six feet throughout, both within the center and at their own place at the barre or in the studio. There will be markers on the floor and barre to help aid students with appropriate distancing. Students must be dropped off and picked up in the courtyard in front of the Center. No parents or siblings will be permitted in the building during class. Please have your student come dressed, ready to dance.
Before entering MILI, all staff, parents, and students will have their temperature taken. Those will elevated temperatures will not be permitted to enter the building. All staff, students and parents must wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival at MILI and in between lessons regularly. A sink with soap and paper towels and/or disinfectant is available to all. Only one customer and child may enter the MILI at a time. All persons must wear a face mask while at our premises. Sanitizing wipes will be used regularly to clean surfaces and objects before and after usage. Doorknobs, telephones, keyboards, sanitary facilities, etc. are disinfected at regularly. Items that are shared are regularly cleaned and disinfected. Instruments will be disinfected before and after each use. Clients and staff who are not in perfect health should stay home and may not enter the workshop. Clients and staff who suddenly feel unwell should leave the shop at once. COVID-19 Infected employees will isolate themselves for 14 days. Inform customers and staff of regulations and procedures. Will implement and adapt safeguards to ensure adequate protection for vulnerable people. Will maintain protective supplies (soap, disinfectant, PPE)
