Live at the Archway Series 2019 - Archway Under the Manhattan Bridge

Live at the Archway is DUMBO's signature series features dynamic musical performances, pop-up galleries, and interactive art experiences in a magical, only-in-DUMBO setting. Always free, always all ages, and always rain or shine.

Sing-Along with Hannah from The Buttons Band - Wild Was Mama

The Buttons Band is an upbeat original kids music band based in Brooklyn. Join Hannah from the band every week for a lively song and dance party to keep little ones moving through their afternoon.
This singalong is scheduled for every Thursday, but we recommend calling in advance to comfirm before you go.
Movies with a View - Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 1

Celebrating 20 years of evening film screening, Movies with a View attracts tens of thousands of people each summer to the waterfront park. The 2019 theme: Better the Second Time Around.
Sweet treats, savory snacks, and drinks, including beer and wine, are available for purchase, thanks to a partnership with Smorgasburg - including cheeseburgers and crab cakes from Burger Supreme, Belgian-cut fries from Home Frite, pizza from Wood Fired Edibles, and homemade ice cream from Bona Bona Ice Cream. Food options rotate throughout the season, with new concessions added every week! In addition to food, each night also includes pre-show music sets spun by Brooklyn Radio DJs, and short films curated by Bamcinématek.

Prospect Park Yoga - Prospect Park Long Meadow

Join Bend + Bloom Yoga, Prospect Park Alliance and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital to celebrate summer with an hour-long, free yoga class every Thursday evening from June through August.
Featuring Brooklyn's finest yoga teachers, Prospect Park Yoga gives attendees a chance to try free, outdoor group yoga classes in a low-pressure, beautiful environment. The series draws hundreds of Brooklynites each week to celebrate yoga and wellness in our treasured Prospect Park. Bring your own mat or towel, a bottle of water and friends. All levels welcome.

It’s an explosion of Island Culture every weekend in August for Brooklyn’s own West Indian carnival featuring steel pan and calypso music, carnival-inspired crafts and, of course, island wildlife. Learn about wildlife in the Caribbean islands and the work of the Wildlife Conservation Society in those special places.
Saturday Storytime with Imagination Playground - Brooklyn Public Library, Park Slope

Green Team 2019 - Brooklyn Bridge Park

Green Team provides essential horticultural care to the Park, including planting, mulching, and removing invasive plants. Green Team is a wonderful opportunity to learn about gardening, enjoy nature, and make the Park look its best.
Saturdays, May 25-Oct 26, 2019, 10am to 12pm.
All volunteers must fill out a waiver and bring it to their first volunteer activity in the park. Volunteers 18 years old or younger should submit their waiver signed by a parent or guardian before any activity begins; volunteers 16 years old or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No experience necessary.
Groups with 10 members or fewer are welcome to join in Green Team sessions. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator/Elizabeth Harnett at email@example.com to request a date.
