Bilingual Baby Storytime - Queens Library- Corona Branch
Through April 29, 2019 - Corona

Spanish: Disfrute de canciones y libros sencillos en inglés y español con su bebé en Cuentos Bilingües Para Bebés. Recomendado para las edades de 0 a 24 meses.
English: Enjoy songs, knee-bouncers, and simple books in English and Spanish with your baby at bilingual baby storytime. This program is recommended for ages 0-24 months.

Kids' Garden Club - Queens Library - Peninsula
Through April 30, 2019 - Rockaway Beach

Join for Kids’ Garden Club. Children ages 5-12 will learn the importance of gardening, develop a connection with nature, and grow their own plants and vegetables. Space is limited.

Toddler Learning Center - Forest Hills Library
Through May 10, 2019 - Forest Hills

Open to young children ages 18–38 months and their parents, this five-week workshop is led by early childhood professionals. Parents will learn about nutrition, speech development, early literacy, and other parenting topics, while their toddlers play with age-appropriate educational toys and develop social interaction skills. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 3/12/2019. Ask the children's librarian for details.

Toddler Learning Center - Flushing Library
Through May 16, 2019 - Flushing

Open to young children ages 18–38 months and their parents/caregivers, this five-week workshop is led by early childhood professionals. Adults will learn about nutrition, speech development, early literacy, and other parenting topics, while toddlers play with age-appropriate educational toys and develop social interaction skills. Earthly Creations: Nature and Art - Noguchi Museum
Through May 19, 2019 - Long Island City

Learn strategies for engaging your child during museum visits while exploring art materials and Noguchi Museum galleries as a family. This program is for families with children ages 2–4. Space is limited and reservations are required. This program runs from 10:30–11:45 am on select Saturdays and Sundays. 

For the spring 2019 season, early registration for members at the Family level and above begins Wednesday, March 6, 2019. General registration begins Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

'Pirate Pete's Parrot' - The Secret Theatre
Through May 25, 2019 - Long Island City

Climb on board and get ready for adventure at The Secret Theatre's longest-running children's musical in Queens: Pirate Pete's Parrot. A melodic medley of misfits promises music, mischief, and a boatload of laughs for both children and adults. 

Pirate Pete is a lovable rogue on a mission: to find his beloved runaway parrot Polly (who prefers pancakes to boring old birdseed), to find his buried treasure, and to pay the rent to Baron Big-Butt. Children and adults will find a lot to love in this quirky production filled with memorable characters! Directed by Terrance O'Lear.
