ROLLER SKATING RINK - Cross County Center

A new pop-up roller rink will be located outside, at Center Court. Guests of all ages can enjoy this new amenity with music, theme nights, and lots of fun. Skates are provided or bring your own. Credit and debit cards will be accepted only, no cash.

Enjoy presentations about monarch butterflies at 11:30am and 1:30pm, followed by tagging and releasing as part of Monarch Watch. 50th Riverside Crafts Fair - Garrison Art Center

Garrison Art Center's Fine Crafts Fair is one of the most well established high-quality crafts fairs in the region. Set on the edge of the Hudson River just an hour north of New York City in Garrison, New York, with majestic river views, the Fair offers a truly exquisite spot to shop and is a premier event in the Hudson Valley for collectors of hand-made traditional and alternative craft. An intimate fair featuring 60+ juried artists participate with furniture, photography, jewelry, gourmet food, glass items, textiles, fine art, ceramics, wooden utensils, tableware, and more. Visitors can take the Train to the Fair which is steps from the MTA Metro North Hudson Line. Free parking at the Metro North train station or at Garrison School, plus a free shuttle service makes this a popular event for those who live near the river towns from NYC to Poughkeepsie. And with the Riverside location, visitors may even arrive by boat!

This is the best introduction to wolves for families with young children. Kids will learn about the mythology surrounding wolves and the important role of wolves in the natural world. This is exciting time for wolves; they are out searching for prey as their pups grow bigger and bolder! Guests will visit Ambassador Wolves Alawa, Nikai and Zephyr, and possibly the WCC’s critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves as well. Pre-registration is required.

Exploring Play: Let's Explore The Shore! - Westchester Children's Museum
Through August 30, 2019 - Rye

Children between the ages of 2 and 5 are invited to a weekly class, brought to life through creative and fun movement activities. There will be singing, story time, and a take home project. This summer, the museum is taking full advantage of their wonderful location. Educators will bring out sand tables with toys and shells, and dig for "treasures!" When the children come into the classroom they will sing a new song, play a movement game, and hear the story "On the Edge of the Sea" by Betty Paraskeras. Let's pretend to be water animals. Can you guess what I am? Everyone will be able to create a special craft to take home that will remind them of their trip to the shore! Everyone can join in the outdoor fun! Sign ups begin when the Museum opens at 10am and are limited to the first 12 children on a first come, first serve basis.

Family Studio Projects - Hudson River Museum
