White Plains Woman’s Club Hosts Community Awareness Presentation on Opioid Addiction

The Woman’s Club of White Plains is holding a free Community Awareness Presentation on Opioid Addiction and its impact on our community this Wednesday, March 13, from 7-9pm at the Woman’s Club which in White Plains. Join for an informative and essential discussion of the opioid crisis and valuable insight as to the scope and impact of opioid addition on the community.

Presenters will be representatives from White Plains Hospital, St. Vincent’s Hospital, White Plains Public Schools, White Plains Youth Bureau, the White Plains Opioid Task Force, and Project REACH. There will be a panel discussion with representatives from from healthcare, business, law enforcement, and education. The event is open to the public and is free of charge.

The White Plains Woman’s Club aims to promote civic and educational programs throughout the White Plains community. The members look to give back to the community both financially and through kind gestures.
