Miss Ivory Tinklefinger (the famous Queen of Sleep) can calm the rowdiest of children with nothing but a great grand piano and her sweet singing voice. But one day – much to her dismay and to the audience’s delight – her piano produces more than just notes. Commissioned by the Sydney Opera House and premiered at the Arts Centre Melbourne, STILL AWAKE STILL! is a cabaret for kids based on the much-loved songs from the children’s bedtime book I’m Still Awake, Still! by author Elizabeth Honey and composer Sue Johnson.

STILL AWAKE STILL! was created by Jessica Wilson, the former artistic director of Tasmania’s Terrapin Theatre, along with Melbourne’s Jump Leads, a non-profit arts company supporting innovative projects by independent artists.

STILL AWAKE STILL! will be performed from January 18-20, 2014. It is a 45-minute production without intermission designed with 4- to 7-year olds in mind. The New Victory Theater is located at 209 W. 42nd St. (7th Ave.). For more information on The New Victory Theater, please call 646-223-3010 or visit
