Soccer lovers will have a blast at this beer garden. Berry Park screens several soccer games through out the day often streaming international ones live. It's gearing up for the World Cup this summer so the vibe at this Brooklyn spot is sure to be lively, to say the least. The rooftop views are breathtaking and the kitchen serves up Frickles (fried pickles), french fries, mac and cheese, and other kid favorites. Berry Park is located at 4 Berry St., in Williamsburg.
This beer garden is a great place to stop for a bite and a brew after a day in Central Park. It's conveniently located near the north end of the park and families can stop in to hear some live music during its Jazz brunch on Saturdays and Sundays or catch a game on one of the many flat-screen TVs. Menu items include chicken wings, fried green tomatoes, and a build-you-own mac and cheese that my kids get such a kick out of. Harlem Tavern is located at 2153 Frederick Douglass Blvd.
Perhaps the most kid-friendly beer garden of them all, DSK Brooklyn holds a Babies & Bier playgroup twice a week. It also shows kid's movie screenings, provides various classes, and even offers birthday party packages. Don't worry parents, there's something there for you too. The beer garden provides a rotating list of 18 draft beers as well as various bottled beers. You can also find traditional German food staples such as Bratwurst and brezels (giant soft pretzels). DSK Brooklyn is located at 710 Fulton St., in Fort Greene.
