Indoor Play Space Opens in the Bronx

Billy Beez, an indoor play space with a location in West Nyack, recently opened a location at the Bay Plaza Mall in the Bronx. The kids' entertainment center also hosts birthday parties.

Billy Beez, an indoor children’s play place, opened a new location in the Bronx’s Bay Plaza Mall this August. The new location, which includes 20,000 square feet of space for children to play in, is expecting to host a grand opening party this month.

The indoor play center is designed to be a space where children can be active and have fun together, where the staff specializes “in getting the kids out from in the front of the TV and getting them active,” says Alyssa Abrams, marketing manager at Billy Beez. The space includes slides, trampolines, sports courts, and a climbing gym to keep kids active and entertained. “We’re expecting this location to be one of our flagship locations,” Abrams says, “it’s in a great area.”

Along with fun play time for kids, Billy Beez also “encourages parents to play right alongside the kids,” Abrams says. Billy Beez prioritizes group play, creating a space where children can play alongside their parents and their peers. The slides, trampolines, sports courts and gym are designed to accommodate children and their parents, emphasizing what Abrams says is one of the most important pillars of Billy Beez: “fun family fitness.”

A grand opening party will be scheduled in the coming weeks for the Bay Plaza location. Abrams says the company’s grand opening parties typically include giveaways, promotions, and fun activities for kids such as face painting and a kid-friendly DJ. The play space also offers birthday parties and other community or group events.
