Rockland County Bricks 4 Kidz Launches Summer Camp

Rockland County Bricks 4 Kidz Launches Summer Camp

The STEM-enriched Lego building program has partnered with Bounce! Trampoline Sports to provide a weeklong summer camp in Valley Cottage.

The camp, for children ages 5-10, will utilize Bricks 4 Kidz's STEM-enriched Lego building and learning to stimulate children’s minds, along with Bounce! Trampoline Sports' interactive trampoline play to keep their bodies active. The summer camp will be located at the indoor bounce house in Valley Cottage within its temperature-controlled environment.

The Bricks 4 Kidz camp program will be offered for four weeks: June 26-30, Aug. 14-18 and 21-25, and Aug. 28-Sept. 1. There will be morning (9am-12pm) and afternoon (1-4pm) sessions with weekly themes such as NASA Space Mission, Animal Grossology, World of Amusement, or Extreme Ninjas. Participants can register for a full- or half-day week.

Bricks 4 Kidz, geared toward children ages 3-13, provides STEM-enriched programs using Legos. Its innovative and educational programs use proprietary models, theme learning units, and motorized project kits to teach STEM concepts through a hands-on, interactive curriculum while the kids have fun in the process. Model building allows kids to problem solve and build self-esteem and confidence, and helps them develop an appreciation for how things work by using their imaginations.
