Green Apron Kitchen offers camps, birthday parties, and a variety of classes to teach children the art of cooking. Dietary restrictions and allergies can be accommodated, and children with special needs are welcome to join any of the facility’s programs.

The Sunday Funday Program for ages 5-15 is for children that have learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and children on the autism spectrum. Activities include cooking, dance, music, yoga, climbing on the adaptive rock climbing wall, and swiming.

Chef Paula offers hands-on workshops and birthday parties at your location for ages 3-14 that include chef hats and aprons, as well as a personalized recipe booklet specific to the event, for each young chef. All parties and workshops are conducted in an inclusive environment, and Chef Paula can customize an event specifically for children with special needs, geared toward different abilities. Recipes can also be created for various dietary needs, and every event includes multi-sensory components relating to sight, smell, touch, taste, and sound.

This social skills program, run by a speech-language pathologist and a licensed master social worker, offers an eight-week school-year session and a five-week summer session for ages 3-5 and 5-8. Each group will include a collaborative cooking activity, as well as structured games and activities.
