Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park will officially return for its 16th season on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, a beloved holiday destination featuring shops, dining, and an ice-skating rink, will open for the season at 12pm on Saturday, Oct. 28. Best get there early as the first 100 people in line on the opening day will receive free hot chocolate, skate rentals, and Bank of America branded gloves.

The Winter Village features a 17,000-square-foot outdoor ice-skating rink (aka “The Rink”). It offers free admission, and is the only ice-skating rink in New York City to do so. Skate rentals are $20, helmets are $6, and checked bags start at $12. There is also a skate aid that can be rented for $22 an hour for little ones who are just starting to learn. Group and private lessons are also available for all ages and levels and birthday party packages are available at The Polar Lounge. The Rink will be open Oct. 28-March 4, 2018 from 8am-10pm daily, weather permitting.

If you prefer to watch the action on the ice, the Overlook is a great place to do so while keeping warm. It is located on the second floor of the Skating Pavilion and provides guests with a selection of games, chess, and art supplies, all which are free.

If you work up an appetite ice-skating or shopping, Public Fare, a fine-casual eatery operated by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, provides light snacks and sandwiches as well as a coffee bar (which transitions to serving wine and cocktails in the evening). Public Fare is located at the northeast corner of The Rink and will be open Oct. 28-March 2, 2018 from 8am-10pm daily.

There are also more than 150 vendors that will be selling food, sweets, crafts, and other seasonal items inside custom-designed “jewel box” kiosks located along Bryant Park's allées and terraces. The holiday shops at Winter Village will be open Oct. 28-Jan. 2, 2018 on Monday to Friday from 11am-8pm and Saturday to Sunday from 10am-8pm. Some returning and new vendors for this year include: DO Cookie Dough ConfectionsZenGarage, Sara Designs, No Chewing Allowed, Le Souk Ceramique, Jet Set Candy, Cheesesteaks by the Truffleist, Bao by Kaya, Aux Merveilleux de Fred, Soap and Paper Factory, and Metal Park

In addition to the shops, The Rink, and dining options, the holiday season will bring several fun events and programs to Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, including:
