Corbin’s Crusaders Sports Camp Opens Connecticut Location

Corbin’s Crusaders opens sports and adventures day camp in Greenwich, CT.

Campers ages 3-14 of all skill levels are welcome to attend and work with professional instructors on a range of sports including baseball, soccer, tennis, and flag football. The 38-acre location includes indoor and outdoor facilities such as sports fields, a tennis center, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a skateboard area, an adventure course, a dance studio, a gymnasium, and more.

“All of our core staff and our core group of campers will add a familiarity to the atmosphere, but with the new location there is an opportunity for these kids to meet new friends and experience new campers from different locations, which is exciting,” says Peter Corbin, founder and director of Corbin’s Crusaders.

Each week of the summer camp, Corbin’s Crusaders holds a different sports tournament in which campers get a chance to participate in some fun competition. Some of the tournaments include World Cup Soccer, March Madness, and Home Run Derby. Campers can also take part in GOPRO each week, in which they choose one sport and play it all afternoon to hone their skills. Aside from sports, the camp also offers climbing, hiking, water slides, and other adventure programs.

Campers can attend all or part of the camp, held from June 19-Aug. 11. Door-to-door busing from as far as Manhattan is available. But don’t expect a dull ride—the staff of Corbin’s Crusaders make the bus ride a part of camp by hosting the Bus Cup, an age-appropriate trivia contest between all the groups of campers on each bus. Each bus receives the same set of questions every day on the way to camp and by the end of the week all of the correct answers are tallied up. The winning bus rides the following week with the Bus Cup trophy.

“We have a close-knit community and all are welcome to join it,” Corbin says.
