This special production features fascination facts found from around the world and right here at LICM. Join us for a humorous, fun-filled performance perfect for audiences from four through 122 years* (*the world’s oldest person). This production is provided by the Students and Faculty of the Long Island High School for the Arts and Nassau BOCES.

Hidden in Sight: Photographing Incarceration - Hofstra University Museum

The United States has the highest rate of incarceration of any country in the world, with over 2 million people currently imprisoned. This exhibition features photographs spanning more than 50 years by three artists, Danny Lyon (American, born 1942), Jessica Earnshaw (Canadian, born 1983), and Isadora Kosofsky (American, born 1993), highlighting the varied critical issues within the prison system in America.

If your child will be preparing to take their SAT or ACT exams this winter or spring, then what better way to start the process then by mapping out their strengths and weaknesses. Afterwards, families will be invited back to sit down with a director and get a detailed report which will analyze exactly how their child did and where they can improve.
