Each member has a long list of credits — Grammy nominations and film soundtracks, high-profile collaborations and performances at Coachella. They formed the World Trad Orchestra to give new life to music that has shaped them profoundly: Brazilian, Cuban, American and French music from the 1920s and 1930s The World Trad Orchestra is more than a jazz band — it’s an emotional weather system. It’s a party on Gatsby’s lawn. It’s a nightclub in Rio. It’s the early hours of the morning in Old Havana. It’s a cobblestone street in Paris at dusk. It’s a mood, an atmosphere, an experience
