Wearing and Cleaning Cloth Face Masks
According to the CDC’s recommendations, cloth face covering / face masks should:
fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
be secured with ties or ear loops
include multiple layers of fabric
allow for breathing without restriction
be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape
In addition, cloth face masks should be cleaned or sterilized after each wear in a washing machine. When removing a face mask, be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth, and wash your hands immediately after removing the face mask.Want more content like this? Like us on Facebook!
