Nyack Famous Street Fair - Downtown Nyack

This great family fun day will feature over 3 hundred exhibitors with arts, crafts, retail, and commercial booths lining downtown Nyack. Enjoy great food, music, and a large Kid's Zone in the Main Street parking lot. Held rain or shine.

GARNER Arts Festival 2017 - GARNER Arts Center

GARNER Arts Center’s Arts Festival showcases the GARNER Historic District, a 14 acre, 19th century textile mill where Arts Festival takes place. In 2017, GARNER Arts Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 20th – 21st. GARNER Arts Center curates sculptural installations throughout 14 acres of 19th Century industrial spaces, inviting artists to present art & performance in warehouses, alleyways, trails and unexpected places. For the 2017 GARNER Arts Festival, exhibitions, installations, and performances will be focused on the subject of Social Justice. “(1) inclusion of everyone in the full benefits of society and (2) empowerment of people to participate fully in the economic, social, and cultural life of the country.” – Institute for Intellectual Property & Social Justice. Audiences are invited to explore 30+ open artist studios introducing them to painters, sculptors, woodworkers, jewelers and photographers. Workshops are available in batik, watercolor painting, printmaking, a drum circle and more. A kid’s corner keeps young artists active, and music, theatre and dance provide the festival’s live performance offerings. Food trucks, craft vendors, a beer & wine garden and a coffee bar round out the weekend’s festivities. New this year, visitors can visit our on-site craft brewery, Industrial Arts Brewing Company!

STEM Expo - New York Hall of Science

Explore summer academic and internship opportunities in STEM, witness interactive science demonstrations, listen to music, explore the museum after dark, and enjoy a taste of Queens.
