5 Spring Fairs and Festivals Happening in Westchester This Spring

Enjoy the warm weather with a fair....or two!

There's no better way to enjoy the warm weather with your family than to take in an outdoor fair or festival. You get to experience local food, culture, and celebrate with your neighbors and friends. Westchester has some fantastic street fairs and festivals coming up this Spring that you and your kids will want to be sure to check out.

Many of these Westchester fairs have free admission and will be continuing all throughout the season. Here are five Westchester County street fairs and festivals happening this Spring:

Shed your cold-weather clothes and watch some sheep do the same, at this 18th century festival that takes visitors through the process of making sheep's wool into cloth. It's held at the Philibsburg Manor and there are tons of old-timey activities for kids to enjoy, incuding crafts, dyeing wool, and taking park in a 20-foot diameter weaving project. There are Border Collies that will be showing off their hearding skills as well as tasty food and a live Bluegrass band.

StrawFest
Sunday, April 29; 12-5pm

Held at the Collge of New Rochelle this free festival will be celebrating its 46th year of strawberry-themed fun. There will be inflatables and food as well as live music, a dance performance, games, and of course plenty of strawberries.
