Fenom Fitness, a family fitness facility, opened in November. Owner Aresh Mohit has been teaching his custom fitness and sports training programs to children for more than 10 years. Mohit designed these unique training programs with the goal of making each participant a well-rounded athlete who has skills in a variety of sports, rather than specialize in the skills of one sport. To achieve this, the workouts at Fenom Fitness are circuit based—instead of training a single part of his or her body, each participant trains his or her entire body simultaneously. Children ages 6 years and older learn how to use work out equipment safely and be cardio conscious, as well as the fundamentals of dribbling, kicking, catching, and throwing.

Programs at Fenom Fitness run smaller than the average fitness class size, which allows the programs to be skill-based and result-oriented. Fenom Fitness creates an environment where children can gain the self-confidence to believe that they can learn to do anything well. The trained instructors at Fenom Fitness encourage kids physically and emotionally instead of comparing them to an ideal.

Fenom Fitness also offers a Family Fusion program, which gives parents and children the opportunity to work out together while having fun.
