Farmers’ Markets in Westchester: Dates and Locations

UPDATED JUNE 2017: Here you'll find a full list of farmers' markets and greenmarkets in Westchester County, NY, from Bronxville to Larchmont to Yonkers and beyond, plus dates and locations for each market.

For many Westchester County families, a trip to the farmers’ market is a special occasion—children get to see, feel, and taste many items they’ve never encountered in a grocery store (chutneys, fresh honey, and designer pickles to name a few) and learn which foods are in season at different times of the year. Plus, most host FREE entertainment and other special events where musicians, storytellers, magicians, and craftspeople get to showcase their talents, creating a strong sense of community and fun.Remember when the only places you could find fresh, locally grown produce and herbs, artisanal cheese, grass-fed beef, free-range poultry, and organic whole-grain breads were stores like Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods? And if you weren’t in one of the lucky few communities where these stores opened, you had to make do with whatever the nearest supermarket chain carried? Well, those days are in the past, with weekly farmers’ markets popping up in most local communities during the summer and fall.
