11th Annual National Grid Earth Day Celebration FREE
WHEN: Saturday, Apr. 21, 2-6pm
WHERE: Weeksville Heritage Center, 158 Buffalo Ave., Crown Heights , NY
AGES: 3 and older
WHAT: Now in its 11th year, the National Grid Earth Day Celebration is designed to educate families on how they can play a role in caring for the Earth and creating a more sustainable future. Events include interactive family activities, experiential learning games, culinary demonstrations, and live performances.

Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival
WHEN: Apr. 28 - 29, Saturday-Sunday, 10am-6pm
WHERE: Brooklyn Botanic Garden, 900 Washington Ave., Crown Heights, NY
AGES: All
WHAT: The festival will feature all-day performances and kid-centric activities such as family tea ceremonies, taiko drumming lessons, an origami workshop, a tea-making workshop where kids can make their own herbal tea bag to take home, and cutout selfie stands that let kids picture themselves as a samurai warrior or daikon radish.

Tuffy Tiger's Family Festival

WHERE: Old Stone House, JJ Byrne Park, 4th Street and 5th Avenue, Park Slope, NY

WHAT: The Tuffy Tiger Family Festival is a community event filled with music, arts and crafts, games, and Tuffy Tiger. Admission is free and events include puppet-making lessons, spin art, and live performances.
