First Shot Basketball School, an exclusive basketball program in Queens, now offers a Super Tots Program for children ages 3-4. The hour-long sessions foster the coordination and skills required for future participation in basketball. “This program is unique because we have four basketball teachers instructing the 15 to 20 students enrolled in our program,” director Joel Mansbach says. The small class size provides the young players with individual attention from each of the basketball teachers who teach basic skills and offer encouragement.

The program helps prepare children for the healthy benefits sports offer by incorporating fun games, such as a freestanding basketball net, Hula-Hoops, circular mats, and other custom tailored activities, that help children develop skills required in basketball. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch their child play basketball and to cheer for their child in the cheering section of First Shot Basketball School.

Each player receives a First Shot Basketball T-shirt and a graduation ceremony upon completion of the program. Each player receives a trophy at the graduation ceremony. Registration for the February classes begins in mid-December.

First Shot Basketball School also offers basketball games for parents to play.
