Our German language program is recognized by The NY State Board of Regents and is designed to lead students toward successful completion of the NY State FLAC exam. Our students take the exam at the conclusion of an eight-year program. Once the exam is passed, the student can be awarded three language credits from their high school. The focus of our school is to teach the German language to children from all backgrounds–our school attracts education-oriented parents who believe that studying a second or third language can benefit their child. As of the 2017-18 school year, La Escuelita is located in a 6,000-square foot light filled facility, with an onsite gym and outdoor playground. La Escuelita offers preschool for children ages 2-5, with extended day options available. La Escuelita also runs Spanish immersion playgroups for children ages 1-4 who are accompanied by a parent or caregiver, and an after-school program for children in grades K-third who are already conversant in Spanish.

The Language Workshop for Children has been a leading name in children's language acquisition since 1973. Using the renowned Thibaut Technique® and native speaking teachers, children learn through original music, vocabulary building songs, immersion, visual aids, and action games in a controlled playgroup environment. The LWFC offers French, Spanish, Chinese, and Italian group classes for tots (6 months-3 years), including a Family Preschool, and for children ages 3-8. We also offer private lessons in person or online through Skype as well as test prep for all ages, including teens and college students.

Pusteblume International Preschool provides children with a fun and community-oriented multicultural environment. Our preschool program welcomes families with children from ages 2-5 of all international backgrounds who are interested in having their child learn German, Spanish, or both, in a language immersion classroom.
