Celebrate a cultural Holiday tradition from Mexico! Celebrate the season by making, and breaking, a piñata! During this program, they will go over the steps needed to create a 7 pointed star style piñata, a traditional Mexican style of making a piñata. While making it, you will learn about the history and meaning of the piñata and what makes it such a popular holiday event, even outside of birthday parties. Advanced registration required. 

Bring your crafting supplies: You will need newspaper, colored paper to decorate your piñata with (tissue paper, cellophane, crepe paper, hygloss paper), a large balloon (18″-36″), glue or engrudo paste, scissors, and tape!
