Here are events in the New York Metro area to celebrate the Jewish High Holidays with your family.

UPDATED September 2019: The Jewish High Holidays technically last only three days, two days for Rosh Hashanah and one day for Yom Kippur. But the commemorations and celebrations continue for for several more weeks, with the holidays of Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah almost immediately after Yom Kippur ends. Here are Jewish High Holiday events in the New York area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, as well as Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. 

Jewish Events in Manhattan 

Family Concert: The FunkeyMonkeys
WHEN: Sunday, Sept. 22, 11:30am-12:30pm

High Holidays Family Services

WHAT: These soulful, energetic, and creative High Holiday experiences include a live band, led by Rebecca Schoffer, Director of Jewish Family Engagement.

Rosh Hashanah One Day Theater Camp
WHEN: Sept. 30- Oct. 1, 9am-3pm
WHERE: Galli Theater, 74 Warren St., Tribeca
AGES: 12 and younger
WHAT: The camp is just the right place to try out different roles from different fairy tales. We do warm up games, movement activities, theater games to prepare our little actors for the stage.

Rosh Hashanah Shofar Sculptures
Sept. 30- Oct. 1, 1-5pm

Bowl Hashanah: Rosh Hashanah at Brooklyn Bowl
